I'm going to try a new series here about the various places Candy Corn comes from. It's not all one source you know. Truth be told, it's probably from a part of all the places I'm going to show you. To get that sweet goodness taste of candy corn, it's gotta come from various sources!
In Part 1, I'll show you a plant called the Candy Corn Plant, or Cuphea micropetala. It's originally from Paraguay but can be grown indoors just about anywhere.

you've peaked my interest by this...i just had "caramel apple" candy corn and i really liked it. i think it will be a feature candy at my daughters first birthday party in a few weeks, since the party is at an apple farm.
Amanda, I'm a real purist when it comes to candy corn, but 'caramel apple' sounds very interesting!
